The Reflection on Rainbow Soldier . . . ( Laskar Pelangi )

5th September 2013, my first experience of watching a movie together with the classmates. Movie titled Laskar Pelangi. It is a film from Indonesia that has won many awards. It is a good film. This film has made me a lot to think about life. The fates of life of people in this world are not the same. Some are rich and some are poor. In this film, it is about the poor students want to go to the school and also the spirit of a teacher to teach students. I can see that even they are poor, they still want to go to school to learn even though they have to go through various obstacles such as distance, transportation and also danger (crocodile). They are also the smart students even they don’t have enough facilities at school. Next, harun who is the disabled person but he also wants to the school and take the exam like a normal person with the same question. They fight each other, they love each other.  Good friendship.

In conclusion, I got a lot of lesson from watching this film. We as a student must work hard and be grateful from what we have. Knowledge is a very important in our life. In many challenges that will be face after this, we must go through to be a successful person. I can see the passion, spirit and love of the teachers and students toward each other. Also, I love this credo “ hidup untuk memberi sebanyak-banyaknya, bukan untuk menerima sebanyak-banyaknya”. It means that we must give as much as possible the good things to others not to receive as much.

  1. Seriously, Harun is one of the best characters for me.

Even though he is disabled, he STILL wanted to learn...

Giler terasa kecik diri sendiri. Apakah alasan kita untuk TIDAK menuntut ilmu? :'(
